So far this is my favorite. Anyone know where I can get the sewing pattern for Alfred Angelo's Style #1148...? Also, any other suggestions for where Alex can get a suit tailored in the UK?

LoveFest, a.k.a. Alex and Erica, officially began on 5 October 2007. Erica proposed to Alex on 12 April 2009 and Alex proposed to Erica on 11 July 2009. Since then, they have continued to propose to each other--in kitchens, in queues, in concerts--while planning their two weddings for 2010, each in their hometowns in Cornwall, England, and Northern California, USA.

Gorgeous dress!
ReplyDeleteI can't help with the UK tailor (or the dress) but my partner got her suit tailored in China. It cost us $133, which is what... 70 pound?? I dunno. It was so good and fits her perfectly.
Word of warning-- that alfred angelo looks GORGEOUS in the catalogs, but I saw it at a bridal show and it made the size 4 mannequin look quite large. I loved it too. Now, never tried it on... but I'd see if you could try it on before you find the pattern.
ReplyDeleteM.G.--thanks for the warning!! I am going to go try it on this Monday to see how it fits, but I'm glad I've got the heads up!
ReplyDeleteWhat great advice from MG. Do you know the person's identity?
ReplyDeleteHow'd the dress fitting go? Judy Belle-- I am a fellow blogger here on the internets!
ReplyDeleteM.G.-- I haven't gone yet wedding planning has gone a bit bonkers in the last week or two--hopefully soon though!
